Phase 2: Corrective Care

Teaming Up For Optimal Health

Most Chiropractors regard the elimination of symptoms as the most important part of their patients care. However, Chiropractic care is also concerned with preventive health care. In order to prevent a rapid recurrence of symptoms, it may be necessary to continue receiving care even though your symptoms have diminished. This of course will be thoroughly and personally discussed with you by Dr. Annis prior to any course of future treatment.

During the Correction or Restorative phase of your care, and depending on your particular circumstances, you may begin doing exercises and stretches either at work or at home to accelerate your healing. Dr. Annis will discuss this part of your rehabilitation care when it is appropriate.

Lastly, please don't be discouraged if you have an occasional mild flare-up of your symptoms. This is normal. Depending on the severity of your injury or condition, and how long you have been suffering, flare-ups may occur during this phase as your body has not fully healed.
